Our Telephone Preference Service (TPS) API checks that telephone numbers are safe to call before picking up the phone. Our TPS file is updated daily. You’re legally obliged to screen any telephone numbers against the TPS every 28 days to ensure any new subscribers are removed.
While there is no legal requirement to use the Mailing Preference Service (MPS)*, it’s best practice to screen any prospect mailing data before each use to prevent unsolicited mailings.
